Work Description
Abstract ink imagery is created inside the pot using traditional Chinese water-ink wash techniques. Layers of varying density and texture build rich visual depth. Seemingly spontaneous brushstrokes embody profound Eastern philosophical insights.
Artist Statement
Ink wash abstraction is a unique aesthetic language of Chinese art. In inner painting, the serendipity of ink and the smooth surface of the pot wall create a remarkable chemical reaction—each piece is one-of-a-kind.
