Inspired by Zhang Zeduan's masterpiece, this teapot micro-recreates the bustling streets of Northern Song-era Bianjing. Every figure, carriage, bridge, and shop is crafted with meticulous precision and authentic detail.
Artist Statement
Compressing a five-meter scroll into a snuff bottle pushes the limits of inside-painting craftsmanship and pays the highest tribute to classic art.
