2023
Media
Inside-painting Art
Size
6 cm × 4 cm × 3 cm
Work Description
Wisteria cascades like a waterfall, with spring swallows darting through its branches. The elegant yet lively combination of purple and green embodies the vitality and energy of spring.
Artist Statement
The combination of wisteria and swallows is the most evocative depiction of spring in Chinese painting. In inner painting, each wisteria flower must be meticulously rendered.
