2022
Media
Inside-painting Art
Size
5.5 cm × 3.5 cm × 2.5 cm
Work Description
An elderly man sits alone in a small boat, fishing leisurely on an autumn river. The vast waters and distant, misty mountains embody the Chinese scholar's ideal of communing with the universe in solitude.
Artist Statement
Solitary fishing is a state of mind. To depict this solitude and freedom in internal art requires ample negative space and precise brushwork.
